Meet the New WorldSchoolers in Medellin Colombia

Listen to the media long enough, you’ll think blacks in America are doing bad. Well, all of the negative hype simply ain’t true. Just look at the families and children in the photograph below! We’re all expats travelling the world with our families … we’re black and we’re doing very well.

This photo was taken during a national holiday in Medellin, Colombia, at the Botanical Garden of Medellin. This was a meet-up of the families who were all connected together by Mitch and Donna Gallegos-Griffith.

Mitch and Donna Gallegos-Griffith have been very instrumental in helping us get over our fears about traveling abroad.

I ain’t gonna lie … I was scared, terrified and nervous about leaving. Just the idea of it all scared me. But after sitting on my computer and watching all of Mitch and Donna’s videos on Facebook and YouTube channel, I finally decided to take the plunge.

Folks thought we were crazy when we told them we were traveling abroad. And after meeting all of these great folks, their families and kids, I’m 100% convinced I made the right decision.
